St Ives Beaches

Beaches in St Ives and Carbis Bay are amongst the most beautiful in Europe and are noted for their clean and sparkling seawater and their outstanding beach facilities.  St Ives has various beaches ideal for surfing, families, swimming, sunbathing and, of course, perfect sand for sandcastles!

The RNLI lifesaving service has excellent cover on all the main beaches during the daytime in summer.  It is always recommended that you check that the beach you intend to go to has lifeguard cover.
