Introduction to Carbis Bay

Carbis Bay Beach

Carbis Bay boasts a fantastic beach which, in itself is enough reason to visit.  In addition, Carbis Bay is a stop on the St Ives Branchline, one of the most scenic railway lines in England.  It is approximately 10 minutes drive from the A30, and another few minutes drive away from St Ives.  With the South West Coast Path running alongside Carbis Bay, and a network of footpaths including some to the woodland area around Knills Steeple, a key monument for the St Ives area, there are plenty of reasons to stay in Carbis Bay.
